Why Can’t I Get Pregnant?

That’s a question we often hear. If you’ve been trying to get pregnant without results, it can seem like every relative, friend and co-worker is able to conceive so easily.

For some women it just takes a little longer to become pregnant. But if you’ve been trying to conceive for 6 to 12 months without success, it may be time to explore possible obstacles that are preventing pregnancy.

When you and Dr. Morrison decide the time has come, your preliminary infertility evaluation could include any or all of the following:

• Physical exam
• Medical history
• Semen analysis
• Ovulation check

Testing for a normal uterus and open fallopian tubes

Depending on the outcome of your evaluation, Dr. Morrison will discuss your options for proceeding with infertility treatment. Your recommended treatment may include lifestyle changes, medication, surgery or other reproductive technologies.
